Opening of the new service within CEBEDEAU
Micropollutants, and in particular PFAS, represent major challenges for environmental protection and public health. In response, we are setting up a new service offering reliable analytical solutions designed to meet today's requirements.
The analysis of micropollutants, and PFAS in particular, demands a high level of precision, which translates into very low limits of quantification and rigorous control of measurement uncertainty, an essential point in the face of growing regulatory requirements.
This analysis requires highly reliable tools and protocols. For example, wastewater matrices, particularly domestic ones, contain bile acids which can be confused with certain PFAS during analysis. It is therefore important to be able to differentiate the analytical signals of these bile acids from those of the PFAS present in the sample. To achieve this, specific high-purity solvents are used. During each analytical run, the bile acids are also injected to ensure differentiation from the PFAS contained in the sample.
