In brief

Do you need our water or sludge analysed? Our team carries out analyses on request in our in-house laboratory approved by the Walloon Region and accredited to ISO 17025 (BELAC n° 353-TEST).

For whom

Industry (small, medium and large companies), engineering companies and public operators and institutions.

How

• We take the samples on your premises or you send them to us.
• We carry out the appropriate analyses in our laboratory using state-of-the-art equipment.
• We interpret the results and provide you with a comprehensive analysis report.

Which analysis?

Sampling

• Sampling is carried out proportionally to flow rate, time, at specific points, using piezometers, TAR, and sanitary water.
• Accreditation (BELAC 353-TEST) for sampling for Legionella analysis in TAR water and domestic hot water.
• Three members of our staff are registered as samplers under our soil accreditation.

Physicochemical analyses

• Analysis of nitrogen, phosphorus, carbon, COD, BOD5, anions, and many other parameters.
• CFA, spectrometers, TOC V-CPN, mineralizers (N-Kjeldahl, COD, metals), probes for in situ and laboratory measurement, titrator, ion analyzer, turbidimeter.

Organic analyses

• PAHs, PCBs, C5-C11, C10-C40, volatile and semi-volatile screening, PFAS, AOX/POX/EOX
• GC-MS/MS, GC-FID, AOX analyzers, GC-FID, LC-MS/MS, SPE

Metal analysis

• Flame and furnace atomic absorption: most total or dissolved metals
• Flame-less atomic absorption: FIMS 100/400: mercury

Ecotoxicity analysis

• Acute toxicity Daphnia magna Straus, acute toxicity to zebrafish eggs (Danio rerio), inhibition of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata algae growth, chronic toxicity to Brachionus calcyflorus.

Accreditations

CEBEDEAU is accredited as a laboratory responsible for official analyses relating to the protection of surface water against pollution (in accordance with the Walloon Government Decree of December 5, 2008, inserting Part VIII into the regulatory section of Book 1 of the Environmental Code): category A, B (restricted to the Daphnia Magna Straus ecotoxicity test) and C (no.: 2022-007).

CEBEDEAU is accredited for soil (pursuant to Articles 32 et seq. of the Decree of March 1, 2018, on soil management) as a Category 2 laboratory (water matrix) (No.: L08DGS2022-CAT2-LABO).
